SelfLube, leading U.S. manufacturer of precision mold and die components, is pleased to be sponsoring the annual American Mold Builders Association (AMBA) Conference. The company will also be featuring its extended custom capabilities for its wear strips.
“We are very pleased to be one of this year’s sponsors,” explains SelfLube’s Sales Manager, Greg Kirchhoff. “Since AMBA is the only trade association dedicated to one industry - the mold industry, we are hoping to really spread the word about our custom capabilities for our wear strips. These are a heavy hit item for us and are prevalent in the tooling industry.”
SelfLube wear strips typically outlast the tool in which they are installed and with graphite plugs they are nearly the perfect guide component. They are made to customer specs and include special features such as hole pattern, pockets, chamfers, cut-outs and several other capabilities. These components also come ready for installation, which is a big time saver for tool builders.
This year’s conference, “Commit to the Challenge” is expecting over 200 mold manufacturing professionals to attend. The 3-day event will be May 10-12 in Cleveland, Ohio. The goal of the conference is to increase profitability in the mold industry as well as connect industry peers with one another. Guest speakers are scheduled to go over industry trends and facilitate discussions with one goal in mind – improving and impacting the bottom line of profit. SelfLube has been a partner with AMBA for five years.
